OAK LODGE SANITARY AND WATER DISTRICT BOARDS ARE DISCUSSING THE POTENTIAL OF CONSOLIDATING DISTRICTS
The Boards of the two Districts will have their next meeting on Monday, March 2nd. The purpose of the meeting is to continue discussions about the discovery phase to determine the benefits and problems with consolidating the two Districts. The public is encouraged to attend the joint Board meeting which will be held at the Oak Lodge Sanitary District office, 14611 SE River Road beginning at 6:00 p.m.
A Financial Feasibility Study was completed by Donovan Enterprises in June, 2014. The study was contracted and funded by the Oak Lodge Sanitary District. The study concluded savings may be attained by consolidating the two Districts. The study showed that although rates would not decrease, there may be a reduction in future rates. The projected savings are primarily attained by reducing administrative staff.
The attachments below include the Donovan Enterprises Financial Feasibility Study and the Request for Qualifications for the discovery phase.
